Reduced Graphene Oxide-Resorcinol Nanocomposite: A Chemosensor for the Detection of Cerium Ions

چکیده
A hybrid material reduced graphene oxide based organic nanocomposite was synthesized from graphite by modified Hummers method, which is further chemically to form (rGO) and with resorcinol through a solvothermal process oxide-resorcinol (rGO-R) obtained. The materials surface morphology structural compositions were studied X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscope (SEM) their optical properties UV-visible spectroscopy photoluminescence. used as fluorescent chemosensor detect cerium ion under aqueous conditions. rGO-R composite’s sensing abilities following parameters viz. pH, reversibility, time the interference of other probable competing ions. follows both photo-induced transfer intramolecular charge processes.
